
Proper Grown-Up Treats with Baileys!
Baileys drinks are probably among the very first cocktails that men and women have ever tried. The luscious texture and flavour is quite unforgettable and the taste is something that is simply impossible not to grow cravings for.
Here are 6 Baileys cocktails and food recipes you can easily prepare yourself, whether for one or for many:
1. Baileys Eton Mess Dessert.
Definitely inspired by the Cocktails aesthetic of its tippled drink counterpart, this dessert is all about taste and the “wow” factor. Don’t be intimidated by the looks of it.
What you’ll need:
1-kilo pound cake, cut into cubes
5 jiggers Baileys Strawberries & Cream
500 ml double cream
30g Confectioner’s Sugar
500g fresh strawberries, sliced
Simply layer all ingredients together in a large, transparent bowl. Top with whole strawberries alternating with piped cream.
2. Baileys BubbleTea.
Among cocktails recipes, this is probably the most calming and, for good underlying reasons, this concoction includes tea as the main ingredient.
What you’ll need:
2 jiggers Original Baileys Irish Cream
2 tea bags
1 cup sugar
¼ cup tapioca pearls, boiled
Vanilla syrup (optional)
Whipped cream
Shaved chocolate
Cinnamon sticks
Start by soaking the tea bags in a cup of lukewarm water. Steep or let is sit for 5 to 10 minutes. Stir. Then, except for the last three ingredients in the list, add all ingredients in a glass. Top with whipped cream and shaved chocolate. Add 2 sticks of cinnamon to garnish.
3. Baileys Profiteroles.
This recipe will have 2 parts. The first will be to prepare the dough. The second part is making the filling.
What you’ll need:
For the pastry:
100g all=purpose flour (use gluten-free if you’re vegan)
3 medium-sized eggs, beat
100g butter or margarine
1 tbsp cocoa powder
Pinch of salt
For the filling:
4 egg yolks,
60g caster sugar
2 tbsp cornflour
25g plain or all-purpose flour
200ml milk
1 jigger Bailey’s Original Irish Cream
To make the pastry, start by preheating the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Sift flour and cocoa powder. Gradually add in the eggs. Heat the butter and water together then gradually add to the mixture. Add the rest of the ingredients and incorporate everything well. Pipe into a tray and bake for 25 to 30minutes.
To make the filling, start by beating the egg yolks and sugar together. Heat in a saucepan. Gradually add the flour, followed by the remaining ingredients, Combine milk and Baileys then whisk into the mixture. Allow to cool. Then, transfer to a piping bag.
Poke a small hole on each pastry then pipe in the filling.
4. Baileys Cold Brew.
This next recipe is a pumped-up refreshment made for any given day.
What you’ll need:
1 cup freshly brewed coffee, cooled down
2 jiggers Baileys Original Irish Cream
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
1 cup whole milk
Start by brewing your favourite coffee. Then set aside to cool. Next, drop the remaining ingredients in a blender. Empty the blended mixture into a glass filled with ice. Decorate with whipped cream and melted chocolate.
5. Baileys Pancakes.

Make your pancake the same you always do. Once you have the batter, add 2 jiggers of Baileys, any variant of your liking. Add more shots if preferred. Use the same technique to make Baileys cupcakes.

Yes. However, you’ll be surprised that its makers actually didn’t use Irish coffee in it. Instead, the coffee flavour is rendered to the drink by cocoa beans imported from West Africa.
