Isle of Orkney Whisky

The Isle of Orkney has the Scapa and Highland park distilleries operating on it, boasting the accolade of the most Northerly distilleries in the world. The Orcadian archipelago consists of sixteen inhabited islands and a scattering of uninhabited ones. Like most of the island malts: Mull, Skye, Arran and Jura, it is generally sweeter than the heavily peated Islay malts.
