Three of the speyside whisky producing regions finest malt whiskies are selected and allowed to mature in ex-bourbon whisky casks.
Once the required level of maturation has been achieved a total of 27 different casks are blended together to create the perfect batch of Monkey Shoulder.
After a further period of ageing and only when the master blended is completely happy are the casks emptied and bottled for consumption.
