Single Malt Scotch Whisky Miniatures - Others

An independent bottler will buy a cask of whisky from a distillery and usually bottle this under their own label. In some cases they may even have permission from distilleries to show on the label where the whisky was distilled.

Independent bottled whisky may sometimes be bottled at cask strength, this sometimes results in a more fuller flavoured whisky being bottled.  Some bottlers may choose to non-chill filter their whisky, which is a process which involves removing impurities to give the whisky a much clearer appearance.
