Bottled Ale & Cider

Bottled Beer & Cider

Beer is the oldest and most widely consumed alcoholic drink in the world.

What really sets England’s real ale apart from all other beers is that it is technically still alive when served. Unlike other beers and lagers which are pasteurised after their production, English real ales continue to ferment in the cask or barrel after they leave the brewery. As their fermentation continues, carbon dioxide is produced which dissolves into the beer.
