Doesn’t time fly when you are so busy. We have just had our busiest January to date with thousands of alcohol miniatures being sent to hundreds of happy customers.

It’s been a busy week with lots of orders having been sent out, mainly wedding favour miniature orders. We have also had an influx of personalised whisky miniature orders.

This week is going to be the first full week back at work after the New Year celebrations. Here at Just Miniatures, we are looking forward to getting back into the swing of things. The Wedding Favour orders have already started to flood in.

A BOTTLE of whisky sold for $54,000 (£26,600) at New York's first liquor auction in over 80 years. It was distilled by Macallan in 1926, and bottled in 1986. Despite the end of prohibition in 1933, New York did not allow spirit auctions until this year.

This month's Whisky Club offering is a rare malt that is so light it will give the G&T a run for its money in the pre-dinner stakes.

MORE THAN 10,000 bottles of single-malt Scotch whisky destined for the UK Christmas market have been stolen, it emerged last night.

The managing director of whisky maker John Dewar & Sons has been named as non-executive chairman of tourist attraction the Scotch Whisky Experience.
